Crash like never before: Grand Carnival “Vertical Street” test [Video]

Recently, Kia conducted a new type of vehicle crash test on its stylish minivan, the Grand Carnival (Sedona), which received the maximum 5-star safety rating from NHTSA. Instead of a traditional crash test against a stationary wall, we went vertical, reproducing the test by dropping the car from up high! Watch as the Grand Carnival gets dropped 12.6 meters, which results in the exact same impact as a standard 56 km/h crash test.
