Thanks to our Russian customers’ continued support and the devotion of all our employees, Kia’s market share in Russia now accounts for 10%, more than double that in 2009. The 1 millionth Kia to be sold in Russia was none other than the much beloved Rio sedan, the most popular Kia model in Russia. Mr. Ivan Lobanov, winner of the lucky customer campaign, chose another Rio for his giveaway vehicle, saying that both its quality and design are beyond satisfactory. Mr. Lobanov was also pleasantly surprised with the free tickets to the UEFA Euro 2016 preliminary match between Russia and Sweden to be sponsored by Kia Motors, an official sponsor of FIFA and UEFA.
