Best of the Best – Kia receives highest distinction at Red Dot Design Awards!

While Kia Motors is no stranger to the Red Dot Design Awards, this year’s distinctions are extra special, as the forty-one members of the independent judging panel (and the largest jury to date) awarded both the Kia Optima and Kia Sportage with prestigious honors, with the Optima taking home the competition’s highest title – “Best of the Best’.

 

 

The previous generation Optima and Sportage each received Red Dot awards in 2011, and have since reclaimed their titles after generation upgrades. As of 2009, Kia has accumulated a grand total of fifteen Red Dots, with every model in Kia’s vehicle line-up having received recognition from the competition. With this achievement, Kia Motors is already looking forward to the official presentation of the awards at Essen, Germany in July.
