A dream ride to the NBA All-Star Game!

The NBA All-Star Game hosted by the National Basketball Association (NBA) draws thousands of fans every February. This year, the basketball world turned its eyes to New Orleans as the annual basketball exhibition game unfolded at the Smoothie King Center.

As a proud partner of the NBA, Kia Motors showed love to basketball fans by offering the Kia All-Star Ride event. Collaborating with online transportation company Uber, Kia offered a ride-along event for passengers to participate in games, compete for prizes and even meet their favorite NBA stars. From February 15^th to 18^th, Kia offered six specially-outfitted vehicle during the 2017 All-Star festival. Of the fleet, three Kia Sorento CUVs featured interactive games that gave passengers a chance to win incredible prizes such as gift cards for NBA jerseys and tickets to the NBA All-Star game. Some fans even got a chance to play games with NBA players.

Our All-Star Optima carried the excitement even further. Three 2017 Kia Optima models were on display in New Orleans. Fans were encouraged to share selfies with the All-Star Optima using the #KiaAllStarContest hashtag and predict the total number of basketballs inside the custom-wrapped vehicle. Lucky winners took were rewarded with a $2000 shopping spree at the NBA store.
