The current Cadenza model has been in production since 2010, although it didn’t arrive in North America until 2013. Based on the sketches the Korean automaker has released, the next-generation Cadenza will get some styling influence from the new Optima and other recent Kia concepts such as the Sportspace. Inside, Kia is going for a more upscale approach as it has with all its models, highlighted by a long, horizontal dash and an overall clean design. Kia said that the interior is inspired by European tastes and hopes the new cabin sets a new standard for luxury and refinement in its class. SEE ALSO: 2017 Kia Sportage Shows its New Face at the Frankfurt Motor Show According to Kia, the next-generation Cadenza “will set new benchmarks for cutting-edge design, interior quality and contemporary luxury when it goes on sale in overseas markets in 2016.” In describing the next-generation sedan, Kia notes that it will feature a bold reinterpretation of the current model’s design, boasting a long hood, wider and lower stance as well as sharper styling lines. Expect the next-generation Kia Cadenza to debut sometime next year.
