<p>There are plenty of good deals to take advantage of if you’re in the market for a new car. In the spirit of Memorial Day, <em>Consumer Reports</em> has compiled a list of the 10 best sales available on vehicles assembled in the U.S., even if they aren’t from American automakers. The publication’s analysts checked 2016 model year vehicles for nationwide new-car incentives and discounts that result in notable available savings below sticker price. It also only recommended vehicles that performed well in testing.</p>

<h2>Chevrolet Impala</h2>

<p>The 2016 <a href="http://www.autoguide.com/new-cars/2016/chevrolet/impala/index.html">ChevroletImpala</a> has a potential savings of $2,066 off MSRP with incentives expiring on May 31, 2016. You can grab yourself one with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine or a 3.6-liter V6 and <em>Consumer Reports</em> praised the Impala for riding like a luxury sedan, feeling cushy and controlled. It also received high marks for being roomy, comfortable, quiet and enjoyable to drive.</p>

<h2>Chevrolet Traverse</h2>

<p>If you’re in the market for a three-row SUV, one of the most competitive available today is the <a href="http://www.autoguide.com/new-cars/2016/chevrolet/traverse/index.html">ChevroletTraverse</a>. Its 3.6-liter V6 mated to a six-speed automatic transmission is smooth and powerful, while returning a competitive 16-mpg overall rating. The publication applauded its firm, comfortable and quiet ride as well as its agile, secure handling. Incentives on the Traverse expire on May 31, 2016 just like the Impala and there’s potential savings of $3,080 off MSRP.</p>

<p>There’s a reason the <a href="http://www.autoguide.com/new-cars/2016/ford/f-150/index.html">FordF-150</a> is one of the best-selling vehicles in the U.S. You can potentially save $5,306 by taking advantage of incentives that don’t expire until July 5, 2016. Powertrain options include a 3.5-liter V6, 2.7- or 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 and a 5.0-liter V8. All engines are paired to a six-speed automatic transmission. The cabin in the new Ford F-150 is quiet, but <em>Consumer Reports</em> did say that the ride is jittery and handling is “rather ponderous.”</p>

<h2>Ford Fusion</h2>

<p>Another popular sedan in the market is the <a href="http://www.autoguide.com/new-cars/2016/ford/fusion/index.html">FordFusion</a> and you can go green while saving money with the Ford Fusion Hybrid. Potential savings off MSRP are up to $2,780 with incentives expiring on July 5, 2016. The hybrid variant returns an excellent 39-mpg overall, but if you want a traditional gasoline engine you can choose between a 1.5- or 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder paired to a six-speed automatic. <em>Consumer Reports</em> considers the Ford Fusion a delight to drive, noting a supple ride and handling that rivals a European sports sedan.</p>

<h2>Honda Accord</h2>

<p>The ever-popular <a href="http://www.autoguide.com/new-cars/2016/honda/accord-sedan/index.html">HondaAccord</a> is well-equipped and priced competitively and you can save up to $1,460 by taking advantage of incentives before they expire on July 5, 2016. The sedan handles responsively, although the ride tends to be choppy. It is, however, very roomy and has a well-finished interior with the base four-cylinder engine returning 30 mpg overall. Perhaps the best news for some is that the Honda Accord is available with a six-speed manual transmission.</p>
