Kia Sportage rides the EURO 2016 fever!

Amidst the passion and heat of UEFA EURO 2016, Kia hosted a special event to further boost excitement for the brand. Fleet customers and influential journalists were invited to enjoy the EURO 2016 tournament and participate in a French Riviera test drive aboard the 2017 Kia Sportage.

 

 

Fifty-four participants from 20 countries gathered in Nice, France for this event. In addition to test driving the Sportage, fleet customers and members of the media had a chance to enjoy a tour of the region’s landmarks (including sightseeing in nearby Monaco). Kia Motors also provided a once in a lifetime chance to view the historic EURO round of 16 match between England and Iceland during the three-day event.

 

 

The test drive of the 2017 Sportage itself was met with favorable reviews. Many commented on the outstanding stylistic elements and the excellent performance of the compact crossover, most notably, the smooth gear shifts.

 

 

Participants commented that the event provided a clear look at the brand’s prize-winning Sportage as well as its deep involvement in sports sponsorships. Surpassing every expectation of an ordinary test drive, the variety of activities presented by Kia made for a unique and memorable experience that boosted the brand’s image for all in attendance. Participants particularly enjoyed the breathtaking location and the scenic 80 km test drive route.
