The 2018 Kia Rio sedan and hatchback duo rolls into New York!

The auto show season is in full swing and Kia is returning to the New York International Auto Show with the all-new fourth generation Kia Rio. Following the first appearance of the 5-door last fall at the Paris Auto Show, the all-new 2018 Rio sedan makes its world debut while the 5-door hatchback is having its U.S. premiere. 

The all-new 2018 Rio boasts new features and technologies that are dedicated to fun driving. Both the sedan and hatchback have been  slightly upgraded in size, offering plenty of interior space.

 

 

Looking for an ample cargo room? The all-new Rio will not disappoint. Extra space for your portable devices at the front row? Check. Need some more head and leg room? It’s got that too! The Rio features best-in-class interior amenities with lower and wider exterior dimensions that give it a dynamic appearance.

 

 

What’s more is that the Rio sedan and hatchback duo presents greater versatility for enjoyable driving. Available in the U.S. market in three trims – LX, S and EX – with the enhanced Gamma 1.6-liter GDI four-cylinder engine, the Rio targets improved fuel efficiency and more responsive driving dynamics.

 

 

To celebrate the debut of the subcompact duo in the United States, Kia hosted a media lounge event for members of the press to experience the new ‘World of Rio.’ Kia’s booth at the NYIAS show floor also featured an impressive and eye-catching installation for the Rio.

 

 

Along with our spotlighted subcompact, the Kia Stinger and the Niro Plug-in Hybrid were among many other Kia models that drew crowds to the brand’s exhibition booth.
