Kiaclub Nieuwsrobot Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 The 2014 Kia Forte made its official debut in late July, and now the Korean automaker has released a selection of videos on its next-generation global compact sedan. Some details have also been revealed on the model known as the K3 in Japan and the Cerato over in Australia and Brazil. New technologies in the 2014 Kia Forte include park assistance, LED headlights, and the Korean automaker’s telematics service UVO. The new Forte measures in at 179.5 inches long, 70.1 inches wide, and 56.5 inches tall. That’s 1.2 inches longer, 0.2 inches wider, and 1-inch lower than the model it’s replacing. In addition, interior legroom has been improved thanks to a 2-inch longer wheelbase. In Korea the K3 will be powered by a 1.6-liter, four-cylinder with 138-hp and 123 lb-ft of torque. The automaker still hasn’t release details on what engine will make its way to America, but it’s expected to be the 1.8-liter currently used in the Hyundai Elantra.
