Kia is recalling 95,314 Soul compacts in the U.S. for an issue with its headliner plate.

According to the Korean automaker, all the affected Souls are equipped with sunroofs and the recall involves the headliner plate surrounding the sunroof. In the recalled vehicles, the headliner plate may detach when the side curtain airbag is deployed increasing the risk of injury during a crash.
