Since it’s a figurative trademark, it’s not for the word itself but rather how it looks. Not much is known about what XCeed could be used for, but Kia does sell the Cee’d in Europe, a compact model available with several variants including a three-door hatchback, five-door hatchback and five-door wagon. Interestingly, the font is different than the existing Cee’d logo and it’s missing the apostrophe. So for now, it’s pure speculation on what XCeed will be used for, but it’s something to keep an eye on as Kia could be looking to strengthen its presence in the crossover segment.
