Kiaclub Nieuwsrobot Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 Kia has announced it is among the first group of beta partners to use augmented reality on Facebook Messenger. The Korean automaker unveiled its augmented reality experience for Facebook Messenger at Facebook’s annual F8 developer conference. Kia is the only automaker Facebook selected to participate in the initial launch of AR for the Messenger Platform. Users can now place a three-dimensional rendering of a Kia Stinger GT, in the color of their choice, anywhere they want. So if you ever wanted to know how the Stinger GT would look in your driveway, garage, or other environments, here’s your chance. Naturally, users will be able to easily share the augmented reality images within Messenger, add them as images and films to their Individual Stories, and save them to their phones.
