sorry... i must write in english, because i cant write in dutch.

my name is andreas "citt". i am the admin (owner) of the german sportage driver forum.

first of all - i dont wont to make advertising here!!!!

i had make a video of dismounting the front of the sportage and posted it on youtube (link below)

may users in germany have problems with dismounting the "grill" or to change the lamps of

fog and cornering light. the video describe step by step the process.

remarks are in german, but pictures tells everything

Het lijkt mij met name handig voor als je zelf bijv. voor PDC wilt monteren want ik vraag mij af of er geen makkelijkere manier is om de grille te demonteren. Opvallend trouwens dat die duitse versies kennelijk geen chroomrand boven de mistlampen hebben. En die neus bestaat feitelijk uit 1 enorme berg plastic, nu snap ik de gewichtsbesparing (voor het formaat auto weeg de auto vrij licht).

Zelf zou ik altijd de bumper weer monteren met 2 personen om krassen te voorkomen op de plek waar de bumper aansluit op de spatborden.

the german version of the sportage has the "chrome-bar" over the fog-lamp. but all chome-parts of my sportage are "foiled" with 3m film in matt black.
