Hello friends,  

I have E-Niro 2021 model year with online UVO in the car connection. And the problem with it, unfortunately. 

 

So, navigation and all services were working well until last week. Suddenly car UVO services stopped working. Car says something like UVO services are not available. I checked link in the panel, where signal shown and there is no symbol of connection. 

I tried to Activate UVO from car menu but it said no signal. So all now offline. 

Also I tried to reset UVO in car with small button, no effect. 

But, car obviously have connection to the network as far as my mobile app can see the car, showing status connected and I can remotely operate my car. Seems it's in car UVO bug. 

 

Does anyone experience same problem? Or... any ideas?

UVO App is no longer the good one, it is now KIA Connect, may be UVO has been stopped now bu KIA ...

I guess in this case it doesn't matter, application on my phone works fine. The car services are offline...

Thank you for your search. But it is not that happening... 

 

Mobile app connected to the car and works fine. All services UVO in the car itself offline, as it has no connection to the network. In meaning that car UVO says can't connect to UVO services. Usually there is icon on right top corner of display showing mobile signal strength and connection status, it is now dissappear. 

 

But! What is most wired, car is connected to the network as far as mobile UVO app can communicate with the car. 

 

Something in car UVO itself. I tried to reset it, but without success.

In other forums it is recommended to delete UVO app and only use KIA Connect.

If you say the app can communicate with the car, do you receive the actual status from the car and can you send an address to the car?

Do you see this (your) settings in the UVO settings of your car?

Yes, I can see all in my application and can send/receive commands from my mobile, no issue here. 

This screen i can see, but if I press activate UVO (it was activated and worked well before last week) it says: UVO services are not available. So, the car UVO thinks that there is no connection to the network, there is no symbol of network also. 

I have no idea how can it be, but it is like this... looks like my Kia getting mad. :)

Does KIA Live work? Can you use "Find my car"? That you can communicate with the car with no UVO connection is strange ..."?

Just read in another forum, that using another parking place has solved the problem from this user due to a weak signal ...

Kia live in the car does not work. Yes, I can see location of my car with UVO mobile app, and I also find it strange. 

 

Changing parking spot doesn't help, tried multiple locations and time. 

Basically this is why I'm confused... all seems to be working, but not.

Is your head unit running latest software? If not you might want to update it or have it updated by your dealer.
You already mentioned resetting with the little button, no harm in trying that a couple of times more I'd guess?

I will definitely go to my dealer next week... 

 

I made this reset... 6..7 times with same results.
