Ik lees overal over airbag controle lampjes die gaan branden en/of niet meer uit gaan.De computer is pas uitgelezen en er schijnt niets mis te zijn, dat is mooi.Maar zojuist voor de TUV keuring geweest (ik woon in Duitsland) en de keurmeester keurde de auto af omdat het airbag controle lampje niet brand.Ik moet eerlijk zeggen dat ik niet eens wist dat het er in zat en had het in 2 jaar ook nog nooit gemist.Kan zoiets een eenvoudige oorzaak hebben of moet ik gelijk denken aan hoge onkosten?Wie heeft zoiets wel eens bij de hand gehad?Jaap Lees het hele artikel

hallo,als ik mijn kia wil starten nadat het een langere tijd(min 6 uur) stil heeft gestaan dan moet ik meerderen keren starten voordat de moter aanslaat. startmoter draait rond ook de moter draait rond. als de moter draait er ga een rit maken dat valt de druk van de motor weg en lijkt het het alsof de motor verzuipt als ik de koppeling in duw en dan gas geef maakt de motor wel toeren laat ik de koppeling omhaag komen dan valt de druk weg, m,eestal akls ik daar na door trek 4000 rpm dan verdwijnt het probleem van het weg vallen van de trekkracht, ook kan ik als ik de auto eenmaal gestart heb daarna gewoon starten zonder problemen....suc6 wie weet wat het zou kunnen zijn..groet camille Lees het hele artikel

Q1. Hello. Thank you for taking the time to talk with us. To start, could you please introduce yourself? My name is Seokgwon Kang and I am a creative director of the INNOCEAN WORLDWIDE CS5 team. It has been 18 months since I joined INNOCEAN WORLDWIDE. This is my third global Kia project and the second one with vehicles since I joined the company. My time working as a creative director and as a project team leader is not that long. My first global project was the TV advertisement for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. After that, I produced a TV advertisement for the all-new Optima targeted for the international market. Q2-1. What is the concept of this Picanto advertisement? The concept of the Picanto advertisement is “Small car, grown up”, representing the fact that the Picanto is “a small car but one that is packed with various features.” The Picanto comes with so many features that even I was surprised. It’s certain that the Picanto will deceive many consumers, as it surprisingly comes with many versatile features for its small size. Therefore, I wanted to include this kind of meaning into the concept and brand slogan. With that in mind, we came up with the slogan “ALL in smALL.” We focused on the word “all” in “small” in order to deliver the message that “Everything is offered in this small car.” Q2-2. Where did you get the inspiration for the OR / AND concept? “OR” represents the worries about what needs to be sacrificed or acquired with a small car. However, none of these concerns are necessary for the Picanto, which is why “AND” was included. Q3. Which part did you want to highlight the most when producing the advertisement? First and foremost, I, of course, wanted to show the Picanto’s new exterior design. I also wanted to emphasize various features despite of its small size. Q4. What would you like to see as a result of this advertisement? With this advertisement, I hope that consumers will feel that the Picanto is ”small but very attractive.” Q5. Do you have any particularly fun or interesting memories of making the advertisement? It is always fun. As I believe it is important to have fun while you work, everything I do is a fun and interesting memory. Q6. It seems that creative directors need to have more unique and different ideas than other people. How do you come up with your ideas? I definitely try to have both direct and indirect experiences. I go on more trips, watch more movies, read more books, drink more, play more and exercise more than other people. Above all, the most important thing is making the effort not to get “old.” I think that there is nothing I can do about physically aging due to time, but I strive not to get old mentally. I soak in a broad range of TV programs, dramas, comedies, movies and popular music because it is very important to understand the sentiments and trends of the young generation who are leading figures of today. Q7. Of the Kia advertisements that you are have been a part of thus far, which is the most memorable? With Picanto advertisement, I thought that global advertisements are more difficult than domestic ones because the target audiences are so diverse. Although they are all memorable, there is always some small trace of regret or a feeling like “I wish I had done this.” Q8. Any final words for Kia Buzz? Kia is planning to boost U.S production capacity by one fifth next year, because of high demand for new models. The Optima sedan is one of the Kia models meeting high demand, and the south Korean automaker is excited to take advantage of the world’s second-biggest auto market. Kia stated today, it will invest $100 million to boost capacity. Kia’s Georgia plant will increase capacity from 300,000 to 360,000 vehicles starting in 2012. Prodiction of the 2012 Optima sedan will begin this September its Georgia plant, currently producing the Sorento SUV and the Hyundai Santa Fe SUV. 1,000 workers have been hired by Kia in anticipation for the additional production. Sales jumped for the Korean automaker by 53.4 percent in May to hit an all-time high consecutively for three months caused by increased Optima sales. Market shares topped 10 percent for both Kia an Hyundai together ranking fifth in global car sales. This has been attributed to slumping Japanese car sales caused by the March 11 earthquake. “Kia is experiencing unprecedented growth in the U.S,” Ahn Byung-mo, group president and CEO of Kia Motors America, said. Het digitale tijdklokje doet het prima als de auto rijdt. Maar het stopt er mee enkele uren nadat de auto is stilgezet . Als de auto daarna weer wordt gestart gaat het klokje weer lopen. De dealer heeft al een nieuw klokje geïnstalleerd, maar het euvel blijft. Daarna heeft hij de stekkerverbindingen gecontroleerd en een stekkerpootje rechtgebogen. Ook dit heeft niet geholpen.Het klokje lijkt mij goed te werken, maar de stroomverbinding wordt blijkbaar onderbroken na enkele uren stilstand. Lees het hele artikel

Thousands of motor sports aficionados will be given an exciting chance of success in car racing competition. Most promising candidates will be trained by Kia Motors Polska under supervision of professionals including Tomasz Kuchar (a 2010 Rally Champion of Poland in Manufacturer’s Team Division, a 2009 Vice Rally Champion of Poland in General Classification and a 2009 Champion of Poland in Super 2000 Division) while the contest winner will be offered keys to a race-prepared Kia Picanto and an invitation to compete in the 2012 Kia Picanto Cup. Kia Motors Polska (KMP) has long been known for the ability to set ambitious goals for the company to achieve, followed by determination to realize them successfully. KMP had some time ago decided to promote the company and the brand through motorssports and went to organize two subsequent series of racing cup competition which became a spectacular success over the last five years. During the finals of the Kia Lotos Cup run on both local and European scale in 2010, the organizers announced continuation of the Kia Cup in 2012. Young drivers will have another opportunity to join the world of racing − this time from the all-new Kia Picanto perspective. Yet KMP could not afford to leave the current year unmarked with regard to the company’s involvement in promoting motorsports and traffic safety in line with providing an opportunity to start a racing adventure to young and ambitious people. 2011 KIA LOTOS RACE is an unique and unprecedented Polish project aimed at finding “young driving talents at the steering wheel” among the amateur crowd and reward the winner with a chance to enter the 2012 Kia Picanto Cup. Hyundai-Kia will outsell Toyota and Honda in May sales, according to TrueCar. TrueCar expects Hyundai-Kia to sell 115,434 units in May. This number represents an increase of 43.4 percent over May 2010 making the Korean group a 10.9 percent market share putting it number three behind Ford and GM. Hyundai-Kia has gathered a momentum caused by the earthquake slow down affecting Honda and Toyota. The earthquake caused a shortage crisis and low incentives, contributing to the Korean’s expected third place rank. “There have been some real and perceived shortages of Japanese vehicles, and the message to consumers when they look around in the media is ‘you might as well not buy something,’” Toprak said. “But the truth is that if Hyundai-Kia didn’t have the right type of products at the right time, they wouldn’t have been able to capitalize on this opportunity.” TrueCar expects inventories for Japanese automakers to continue to be low in June, especially for fuel-efficient models built only in Japan.
