Dit lijkt wel een algemeen Kia probleem. Mijn Venga had hier last van, mijn nieuwe Cee'd SW had hier met de ''oude'' bak last van en nu (door een andere reden) ook met een compleet nieuwe fabrieksbak heeft de Cee'd SW er nog last van. Nu de jouw Rio ook.... Die ''lapmiddeltjes'' die ze er maar bij gooien ben ik niet zo weg van. Ze zouden eens goed naar die bakken moeten gaan kijken. Ik hoor en zie tegenwoordig bij de nieuwe modellen veel problemen met vrijwel nieuwe bakken die amper wat gelopen hebben. Mijn Venga had hier ook met zo'n 13.000km last van en mijn nieuwe Cee'd SW had er ook last van met een zeer lage kilometerstand.Bij mijn Venga was het ook alleen met koude motor van de 1e naar de 2e versnelling. Bij mijn nieuwe Cee'd SW is het ook alleen van de 1e naar de 2e versnelling bij koude motor. Als de motor warm is is het probleem er niet meer en gaat het schakelen van z'n 1 naar z'n 2 prima.Ik kijk het nog even aan of het erger wordt. Terug gaat hij zeker! Garantie is garantie en ze lossen het maar op. Als ik jou was zou ik ook gewoon terug gaan en ze het op laten lossen. Het lijkt er op dat die synchronisering (synchromeshring ??) van z'n 1 naar z'n 2 niet lekker is als de bak koud is. Als hij warm is (uitzetten van metaal of dunner worden olie?) is het probleem er vrijwel of helemaal niet meer. Lees het hele artikel

The 2014 Kia Sportage will start from $22,450 including destination, reflecting a price increase of $2,600 compared to the 2013 model year. For the 2014 model year, the Korean automaker offers the Sportage in three trim levels, getting rid of the Sportage Base from the lineup which causes the price increase. The 2014 Sportage however does get a mild facelift and has a more powerful base engine, a 2.4-liter with 182 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque. A more powerful turbocharged 2.0-liter engine is also available with 260 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque. A tilt and telescopic steering column has been added as standard equipment across all three trim levels. Shoppers looking for all the bells-and-whistles will see pricing starting from $29,250 for the Sportage SX with all-wheel drive. Kia has announced a special edition 2014 Soul called Red Zone that will be limited to 2,000 units set to arrive in dealerships during the first quarter of 2014. The 2014 Kia Soul Red Zone edition is based on the Soul Plus and features a white exterior paint with red accents and unique interior trim. The aggressively styled body kit sports red accents along with the front grille while custom 18-inch wheels give the Soul a sportier appearance. SEE ALSO: 2014 Kia Soul Review On the inside, black cloth seats now feature red stitching, the same treatment that can be found on the steering wheel and black-leather dash hood. The black carpeted floor mats also have red piping while the shift knob, air vent ring, dash speakers and console tray have all been dipped in red paint. The 2014 Kia Soul is powered by a 2.0-liter GDI four-cylinder engine with 164 hp and is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Geachte heren en dames,Wij hebben hier een Kia Pregio binnenstaan welke zeer slecht start, ongeveer 1 minuut doorstarten, dan slaat hij aan met veel witte rook. Gloeiers zijn al bij een andere garage vervangen, gloeirelais werkt, wij hebben tijdelijk het brandstoffilter uit het systeem gehaald om een lekkend opvoerpompmembraam uit te sluiten, distributie is gecontroleerd en krukasspie is niet uitgeslagen.Nu willen wij de pomptiming controleren, maar ik kan geen beschrijving/ meetwaarden vinden. Kia dealer hier heeft het nog nooit gedaan en kan ook de beschrijving niet vinden (schijnbaar een probleem met de vertaling van de werkplaatshandboeken).Mijn vraag is dus of iemand een beschrijving heeft hoe wij deze pomptiming kunnen controleren.Alvast bedankt,Groeten Erik Lees het hele artikel

Kia has another reason to celebrate for hitting a milestone in its history, this time, in Israel. Kia Picanto has been officially appointed as Israel’s best-selling car in cumulative figures this year, exceeding sales of its competitors including the Ford Focus, Toyota Corolla and Hyundai I35. This remarkable achievement was featured on the front page of Israel’s largest daily newspaper, Yediot Achronot.
