Beste mensen,Ik heb een Kia Rio staan met een defecte benzinemeter. Hij hangt helemaal onderin en geeft leeg aan. Er zit voldoende brandstof in de tank. Ik heb een ouder bericht gelezen en daar hebben ze het over een zwarte draad die los kan liggen. Als ik de kap eraf haal die onder de achterbank zit zie ik een stekker zitten met 5 draadjes. Ik heb gekeken of de zwarte draad los zit maar dit is niet het geval. Kia has officially announced that its all-electric Soul will be available in the U.S. starting next year. The Kia Soul EV will be the Korean automaker’s first all-electric, zero-emissions vehicle available outside of Korea and will have a target range of over 120 miles. The electric motor will boast 109 hp and 210 lb-ft of torque, making it more than capable for city and highway daily commutes. SEE ALSO: Kia Soul EV Might Not be a Compliance Car After All Equipped with a high-capacity 27 kWh lithium-ion polymer battery pack, the Kia Soul EV will make charging easy by simply plugging it into any standard electrical outlet. Recharging times are up to five hours with a standard 240-volt outlet while a fast charge is available in 25 minutes with 100 kW output. The electric motor will send its power to the front wheels through a single speed constant gear reduction unit, allowing the Soul EV to accelerate to 62 mph in less than 12 seconds and will have a top speed of around 90 mph. Once it goes on sale, the Soul EV will be offered with projection-type headlights, LED positioning lamps, LED rear combination lamps and aerodynamic 16-inch wheels. Styling wise, expect the Kia Soul EV to be similar to the current 2014 Kia Soul. “The new Soul EV will be at the forefront of Kia’s ‘Clean Mobility’ program, which aims to provide environmentally-friendly vehicles to our customers around the world, when it goes on sale globally next year,” said Kia Motors America’s executive director of product planning, Orth Hedrick. Heb vanmiddag distributiekappen gedemonteerd om de distributie te vervangen, alleen tandwiel aan de rechterzijde onderkant die mee loopt met de langste distributie riem, volgens mij het oliepomp tandwiel komt na vele malen ronddraaien niet op het merkteken te staan. Riem is waarschijnlijk ergens anders vervangen maar dit tandwiel staat niet op tijd. Wie heeft een beschrijving met afbeeldingen om de distributie netjes op tijd te stellen. Lees het hele artikel

Kia has teamed up with B.R.A.K.E.S., a pro-active youth driving school to teach teens and their parents about the importance of responsible motoring. Naturally a name with that many capital letters and periods has to stand for something, and it does. B.R.A.K.E.S. is short for Be Responsible And Keep Everyone Safe. Kia is the official vehicle and presenting sponsor of the organization. The South Korean automaker has provided 32 vehicles to help support the charity’s important mission. Nationwide B.R.A.K.E.S. provides teen drivers with no-cost, hands-on training. Participants get courses on distracted driving, emergency braking and evasive maneuvering. All of this training has one goal in mind: saving lives. This program is significant because of one sobering statistic. More than 85 percent of teenagers will have an accident in their first three years of driving. Those are better odds than Wall Street bankers swindling America. Young drivers can hit the B.R.A.K.E.S. in Raleigh, North Carolina on November 23 and 24, Pomona, California from November 30 until December 1 and in Irvine, California from Pearl Harbor Day to December 8. Since it was founded in 2008 this organization has helped nearly 10,000 teens in the United States and Canada learn how to drive safely. They provide about four hours of hands-on instruction per pupil. A student-to-staff ratio of about three to one ensures plenty of personal attention. Discuss this story on our Kia forum.
