Ik heb de plastic kap van het blok gepakt en de bovenkant lijkt wel 'nat'.Ruikt niet in het speciaal naar diesel maar schoon is het zeker niet.De vettigheid/nattigheid lijkt evenredig verdeeld in lijn met de 4 injectoren (dus geen gesmeer bij het vullen van de olie)Morgen gaat er een dieselspecialist naar kijken. Ik heb een soortgelijk 'probleem' met mijn sorento 2005 CRDI 2.5.Ik rijdt echter ook elk jaar een aantal keren in LOW op onverhard terrein en daaruit ervaar ik geen slechtfunctioneren van de tussenbak. Het gebeurt wel dat hij soms wat moeite heeft terug te schakelen.Mijn tussenbak is ooit (voordat ik eigenaar was) vervangen, ik neem aan dat als de tussenbak kapot is (zoals hierboven gesuggereerd) dat hij dan in zijn geheel niet zou functioneren?Groet,Mark Lees het hele artikel

Ik heb een sorento 2005 CRDI 2.5 Diesel.1. Na een retourtje frankrijk sloeg deze auto af bet het oprijden / opstrekken de snelweg op na het tanken. Wilde niet meteen starten na een minuutje rust wel weer.2. Vlak bij Amsterdam (dik 100 kilometer verder / uur later) gebeurde dit nogmaals toen ik bij +/- 100 km/h de cruisecontrol weer aanzetten (moest dus flink optrekken in 5 naar 120 KM/h) De laatste grote beurt was 15D km geleden, eerder werd soortgelijk gedrag veroorzaakt door een verstopt dieselfilter. Dealer gebeld, deze gaf aan (ivm. de km-stand 198.000) het diesel filter tijdens die beurt niet te hebben vervangen. Dit alsnog op de hoek van de straat laten doen.Vanmorgen was het probleem echter weer terug, bij dik 3000 toeren in de 4 de snelweg op en de auto haperde wat, uit reactie schakelde ik meteen naar de 5 (voelde als toeren begrenzer) waarna ik mij bedacht dat ik nog niet zoveel toeren maakte. Terug naar de vier en een beetje gas bij. Auto slaat abrupt af bij 3.5000 toeren. Auto gekeerd en terug naar huis. In de 3 krijg ik het probleem niet gereproduceerd.Bij de juiste afrit nog een pogin in de 4, weer slaat de auto af. Dit keer blijft echter het motor management lampje wel branden (andere keren niet).Ik ben hierop meteen door gereden naar de dealer; deze lees uit 'FUEL PRESSURE LEAKAGE' en volgens mij zag ik op zijn scherm dat de rail 1018 mBar had bij stationair toerental, de lekkage lekt dus pas bij 'hard werken' (misschien op zo'n moment meer tegendruk uit de cilinders?)De auto vertegenwoordigd een dagwaarde van nog geen 6.000 euro schat ik zo (205.000 KM, 2005, handbak) en de kosten beginnen aardig op te lopen.- lekke krukas keering- grote beurt, brandstof filter etc.- Nieuwe keerring vooras + olie in tussenbak;vooras;achteras (zat water in)Al met al ergens tussen de 1000 en 2000 per jaar aan kosten over de laatste 3 tot 4 jaar, deels dure beurten.Graag meningen en advies,- hoe moelijk zijn dergelijke lekkages te vinden?- is dit Kia specifiek werk of zou elke handige garage dit moeten kunnen (de zeer goede, kleine garage op de hoek is een stuk goedkoper en daar heb ik meer vertrouwen in)- wat voor kosten / matriaal zitten er tussen de bandstofpomp en de verstuivers?Dank allen. Kia Motors is participating in an 8,000 mile trip with the 2011 Optima Hybrid sedan in an effort to break the Guinness World Record for the lowest fuel consumption in a hybrid car. Drivers Wayne Gerdes and Chris Bernius will drive through 48 states in 16 days. Both drivers are experienced fuel economy drivers and the 2011 Optima Hybrid is bone stock, in accordance to Guinness’ strict rules. The Optima set off from Kia’s plant in West Point, Georgia on August 26 and is scheduled to conclude its drive on September 10 in South Carolina. “Fuel economy is becoming increasingly important to car buyers all around the world, and the Kia Optima Hybrid is one of our latest models to address this consumer requirement,” Senior Executive Vice President & COO of Kia Motors Corporation Thomas Oh, said. Currently, the Guinness World Record for lowest fuel consumption in a hybrid car was set in October 2010 using a Toyota Auris Hybrid. Als het lampje knippert is er een ernstige storing in 1 of meer cylinders.De verbranding valt weg en er kan schade ontstaan aan de katalysator.Wegvallen van verbranding kan zijn dat de vonk weg valt of dat er iets is met het mengsel in die cylinder waardoor het niet wil branden.Plofje onder de auto is het exploderen (verbranden) van benzine in de uitlaat.Foutcodes moeten wettelijk nog een tijd bewaard worden. The ad will premiere on the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) on August 28th. Kia is looking for similar success to the last spots in order to drum up interest in the refreshed 2012 Soul. Updates for the 2012 model year include some mild design changes, new paint colors and the addition of the UVO Sync-style system. A new 1.6-liter direct-injection engine makes 135-hp (up 11%) and 121 lb-ft of torque and thanks to new six-speed manual transmission fuel economy is up to 28/34 mpg. Two motorists are preparing to drive a 2011 Kia Optima Hybrid into the pages of the Guinness Book of World Records this week as they aim to set a new record for lowest fuel consumption (in a gasoline hybrid car) while driving through all 48 adjoining states of America. Taking on the epic 8,000 mile fuel economy driving challenge will be experienced fuel economy driver Wayne Gerdes and his colleague and friend Chris Bernius, who will be completing the journey in a factory-standard Kia Optima Hybrid. The record attempt will see the drivers depart from Kia Motors’ manufacturing plant in West Point, Georgia, on August 26, travelling through the 48 adjoining states in a clockwise direction, before finishing in South Carolina just 16 days later, on September 10. Sharing the same platform as that car, look for an improved ride quality, plus the Forte is expected to get a new design closer in keeping with the larger Optima sedan. As for engines, look for the 1.8-liter 4-cylinder from the Elantra with 148-hp. Both a six-speed manual and six-speed automatic will be offered.
