de anwb had hem uitgelezen was 1,5 uur bezig met de auto en hij zei dat hij geen lamda waardes ziet.de voorste kat eruit geschroefd en die was leeg misschien vandaar geen waardes.verder geen prut in de uitlaat dus eerder leeggehaald door iemand denk ik.voorste kat is wel gewoon grijs van binnen geen olieprut.auto gebruikt halve liter per 6 maanden. 157000 km gelopen.de anwb denkt ook aan een brandstofprobleem maar mocht de druk niet op straat meten.en een brandstof meter heb ik zelf niet.wat moet de druk zijn want ik probeer er mrgen dan een te lenen. And with all the excitement over the Kia Niro concept at Frankfurt Motor Show, the Kia Buzz team is feeling a little nostalgic for past motor show concepts. Let’s go back in time and take a closer look into Kia’s love affair with concept cars. We are going to start this trip down memory lane with our KCV concept series and work our way up. 2003: KCV-3 Kia designed the KCV-3 convertible coupe to show how powerful emotions, the cyber-style artistic movement and dream-world computer fantasies, can be combined together and expressed in automotive terms. This next-generation compact convertible coupe is fun to drive with a modern sporty look. The front radiator grille was designed to suggest an airplane-like air-intake The interior has a free style with an asymmetric right and left structure The coupe has a 4 passenger seat arrangement with an electronic stability program, telematics, in dash DVD and MP3 player, advanced airbags and active headrests. The back is wider and more stable and creates a sense of volume to both sides while stressing simplicity Initial design sketch: Dynamic and modern European image – powerful, sleek and edgy Initial design sketch: Bright key colors emphasize a high-class feelings and simplicity with a voluminous body design 2004 Mojave (KCV-4) Pick-up concept The 2004 Kia KCV-4 Mojave concept was a creative styling exercise to tackle the compact pick-up truck segment. Judging from the name, you might have guessed that this concept, along with a later concept called the Kia Mesa, helped inspire styling cues that led to the production of the actual Kia Mohave (with an ‘H’). There were two reasons why the KCV-4 was named “Mojave.” Mojave represents the ruggedness and beauty of the spectacular American Southwest. Mojave also represents a geographic location, Mojave Desert, near California City, CA, where the Kia and Hyundai North American R&D center is located. The KCV-4 pursues utility with an ample trunk and a soft, but bold style. A strong and simple design was chosen to meet the needs of North American customers. Cyberspace-like interior for X and Y generations with an advanced image created by aluminum and plastic materials Pleasant lines and side design with volume, something not found in traditional compact pickups. Concept cars are mostly built to taunt automotive journalists, but on rare occasions they do serve legitimate purposes. Sometimes they can tip-off what a car company has in development, and the black-as-coal Kia Niro is a clue as to what the South Korean brand’s next B-Segment offering could look like. The company’s current subcompact car is the Rio. Along with products like the Honda Fit and Ford Fiesta it’s a solid all-around vehicle. But the Niro appears to step things up in a number of ways. First, its design is rather striking; though to be fair it is a concept car. It’s got a raised hood, two scissor-style side doors and a convenient hatch to access its rear storage area. It also features a unique blend of materials including shiny stainless steel. The car is aimed directly at European customers who typically appreciate small, efficient vehicles due to high fuel prices and urban congestion. Interestingly it was designed at Kia’s studio in Frankfurt, Germany so there could be some home-continent appeal to it. SEE ALSO: AutoGuide’s 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show Coverage Under the hood, this baby is hauled around by an “innovative new powertrain,” which is a 1.6-liter T-GDi engine with hybrid electric drive. The gasoline engine is a variant of the Korean automaker’s turbocharged Gamma engine and and features 158 horsepower. The electric-hybrid system delivers up to 44 horsepower to the rear wheels. The engine is mated to a seven-speed, dual-clutch transmission. It also features “intriguing elements” that the company claims aren’t typically found in small cars. The interior, for example, features one-piece molded seats covered in a techno-look “Orbit Silver” line-quilted textile. According to Kia, the clam-shell seat-backs tilt to allow access to a two-seat, 50-50 split bench in the rear. Showing off some high-tech equipment is a super-vision digital instrument binnacle that can be formatted and switched to provide the information the driver finds important. It features all the main instruments, though additional info can be displayed on a center console-mounted screen. The screen also allows drivers to see and record live pictures from the video cameras mounted at the front, rear, and mirrors of the concept. How’s that for creepy? “We would love nothing more than to see all of our concept designs on the streets of Frankfurt or London or Paris tomorrow,” said Gregory Guillaume, Chief Designer at Kia’s Frankfurt office. “As Kia looks to add to its range of small cars for this future European market you have to look at where the market opportunities exist and how we can exploit them. Perhaps Niro answers that challenge,” he added. The Kia Niro is designed to gauge customer interest for future products. It is joined by a dramatic new urban B-segment concept vehicle, the Kia Niro, which makes its world premiere, as well as the new bi-fuel Kia Picanto LPG and upgraded Kia Optima. The all-new Kia Soul stays true to the original iconic design, with modern design cues matched by improved dynamics and a range of economical engines. The smooth new-look exterior is inspired by the 2012 Kia Track’ster concept and introduces a thoroughly fresh, more grown-up appearance without losing its individualistic edge. The biggest technical change for the new 2014 Soul is the adoption of an all-new platform, based on that of the latest Kia cee’d. The result is greatly improved ride and handling compared with the outgoing model, as well as more mature and composed on-road behavior. The second-generation Soul will also be the best in its class for refinement, a result of the car’s upgraded suspension, 29% stiffer bodyshell and comprehensive soundproofing. The Kia Niro previews an innovative new powertrain, featuring Kia’s turbocharged 1.6-litre ‘Gamma’ engine, developing 160 ps through a seven-speed, dual-clutch transmission. While the engine drives the front wheels, an electric-hybrid system powered from regenerative braking delivers up to 45 ps (33 kW) to the rear wheels – when road conditions require extra grip. Niro is born out of Kia’s determination to seek new compact car options for urban drivers, and has been created with European tastes and expectations very much in mind. The car was designed at Kia’s Frankfurt design studio – less than a kilometre away from the IAA – under the direction of Gregory Guillaume, Chief Designer Europe.
