Mijn Sorento 3.3V6 uit 2007 blokkeerde van de een op andere dag de voorwielen in bochten.Hij maakte dan enorme herrie en schoot weer in de aandrijving. Volgens de garage was het de tussenbak, die inmiddels is gereviseerd (1000,-- verder...) Echter is het probleem er nog steeds.Morgen gaat de auto naar de KIA dealer om aan de testkast te worden gehangen, maar nu vermoeden ze dat het in de computer zit, en dat deze ook vervangen moet worden (weer 1000,00).. Dit mag toch niet voorkomen bij een auto van 6 jaar oud?? Kia geeft niet thuis, van coulance willen ze niks weten. Wat denken jullie dat het probleem kan zijn? Lees het hele artikel

When it comes to quality and customer service, Kia is all ears. Even the company’s top man is willing to take advice, while one of the world’s leading hotel chains is helping dealers improve the way they treat buyers. Just as designers use boat shows, furniture exhibitions and fashion parades as inspiration for future models, so Kia’s customer-facing staff and quality inspectors are happy to use outside expertise. In Korea, Kia enlisted the help of the Ritz-Carlton hotel chain in 2011 to develop customer service programs, including a training manual for sales and service staff. It has recently been expanded to include sales promotion and marketing. Meanwhile, at corporate HQ in Seoul, Vice-chairman and CEO Hyoung-Keun Lee subjects himself, the company’s upper management and heads of product development and manufacturing to a monthly grilling to address quality issues. Putting on the Ritz-Carlton The Ritz-Carlton Kia training program is currently available only in Korea, but as both brands are global – the hotel chain has 81 properties in 26 countries while Kia operates in more than 170 markets ­­- there is no reason why it could not be extended if individual countries think it could help. Ritz-Carlton has twice won the prestigious Malcolm Bainbrige award, an American barometer of business excellence given by the President. Last year 87 Kia sales offices were declared customer contact points of excellence, while almost 19,500 dealership employees, more than 100 staff members from service partners and 9,600 new recruits were given customer service training based on Ritz-Carlton guidelines. Are mid-size sedans all the car most people need? Some would argue yes. Unless your family exceeds five people, the majority of driving endeavors can be accomplished with one of these family sedans. Some may want a larger vehicle, or a sportier one, but from a purely practical standpoint, a mid-size sedan has you covered. Need to haul more people or larger items? A local rent-a-car counter will gladly lend out a minivan or a pickup truck for a small fee; much smaller than the penalty of buying (and fueling) one of these large vehicles that are called upon on a handful of times. Spacious, efficient and practical, mid-size sedans are designed for mass appeal and consumers are responding. After full-size pickup trucks, the four bestselling vehicles in America are mid-size sedans. This is why every mainstream manufacturer spends a lot of time and effort attempting to create an appealing car for the segment. And the work shows as it is hard to label any mid-size sedan on sale today as a ‘poor’; in fact, the majority are great. That said, is it possible for a new offering to stand apart from the crowd? Mazda would like to think so. Recently engrossed in a #GameChanger hashtag party, Mazda believes its new 2014 Mazda6 will revolutionize the mid-size segment. We sent invites out to every manufacturer to provide us with a fully loaded, four-cylinder mid-size sedan. Two manufactures, Dodge and Chevrolet, declined our offer as no suitable vehicle were available at the time and the Ford Fusion was a last minute withdraw thanks to an untimely recall. Eight manufactures did show up though and an epic shootout amongst the Honda Accord, Hyundai Sonata, Kia Optima, Mazda6, Nissan Altima, Subaru Legacy, Volkswagen Passat and, of course, the Toyota Camry was all set. Mijn Picanto heeft achter schijfremmen. Ik heb de blokken vervangen, maar kwam daarbij erachter dat er een klein scheurtje in de stofhoes van de remcylinder zit. Helaas zijn deze niet los te krijgen, dus heb ik een complete revisieset moeten bestellen. Maar ik wil de remklauw niet reviseren, alleen de stofhoes vervangen. Mijn vraag is dus, kan dit zonder de remklauw uit elkaar te halen? (Dus met de remzuiger nog op zijn plek) Lees het hele artikel
