De dealer heeft de startmotor vervangen en de kleppen gesteld en inmiddels loopt de motor weer. Hoewel ik hem niet altijd even lekker aan vind slaan. Maar de motor loopt dus de eigenaar is tevreden. Kia has confirmed that its dramatic new European concept, to be unveiled at the 65th Internationale Automobil-Ausstellung (IAA) in Frankfurt, will be called the Kia Niro. The Kia Niro hints at a possible future B-segment contender ready to take on the urban environment with style and tenacity, and will preview an innovative new powertrain when it is revealed on 10 September. The car was designed at Kia’s Frankfurt design studio – less than a kilometre away from the IAA – under the direction of Gregory Guillaume, Chief Designer Europe. Accepting any challenge that the assured modern motorist may throw at it, Niro combines a mischievous character in a clearly robust and substantial yet stylish bodyshape featuring a mix of contrasting materials – including stainless steel elements – in compact, purposeful dimensions. Born out of Kia’s determination to seek new compact-car options for the individualistic and demanding driver for whom size is an issue, Niro features intriguing elements not always associated with smaller cars and has been created in Europe with European tastes and expectations very much in mind. Ik heb zojuist de hele zekeringkastje eruit gehaald en het zag er goed uit op een stoflaagje na. ik heb hem uitgeblazen, alle zekeringen gecheckt en was ok.daar zal het niet aan liggen denk ik.ik heb nu wel gemerkt dat wanneer ik de fout wis, bij langzaam de gaspedaal indrukken en opbouwen haal ik de 2500 rpm tot 5000+ rpm. en bij het loslaten gaat ie terug naar +-800rpm dan gaat ie vanzelf langzaam naar de +-1250 rpm en blijft daar hangen tot ik er met mijn voet een tik tegen het gaspedaal geef zakt ie weer terug naar +-800rpm.als ik snel het gas indruk dan geraakt ie niet verder dan de +-1500-2000 rpm en zakt maar bij het inhouden van de gaspedaal gaat ie maximaal.heb de EGR nogmaals afgedicht met platen. zonder resultaat.kan het aan de lambdasonde liggen of heeft de sorento geen.? Kia’s all-new Sorento crossover was just photographed while undergoing testing in Germany. Here’s what we can glean from these spy pictures. Not much is known about the next-gen Sorento, but it could be slightly larger than today’s model. That size increase could indicate that it rides atop the same architecture as the Hyundai Santa Fe. Hyundai’s crossover is offered in two basic flavors. The Sport model features a shorter wheelbase and only seats five-passengers. However, from hub to hub the standard version is nearly four inches longer, while its overall body is some 8.5 inches longer. The result of that extra size is a more spacious interior. The Santa Fe features three rows of seats. Sport models are powered by either a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that puts out 190 horsepower or an optional 2.0-liter turbo that delivers 264 ponies. Non-Sport Santa Fes are powered by just one engine, a smooth-running 3.3-liter V6 with 290 horsepower. A six-speed automatic transmission is standard on every model. Will the next generation Kia Sorento mimic what Hyundai’s crossover is doing? Will it feature the same powertrains? At this point we just don’t know but it seems plausible. Ik kwam dit tegen op een Kia forum lekkage bij de bestuurdersstoel.http://www.kia-forums.com/2003-2010-sor … 00rpm.htmlJust to update you all.....the car has a leek possibly sunroof or windscreen, i have read post on here about this before. anyway water is dripping down the driverside pillar and in to the footwell. Water has worked it's way in to the fuse box in the drivers side footwell and has started to corrode the board. it has been sraped and cleaned and also has a silicon spray to prolong it's life. once all put together and codes cleared (U0004 and U0002 High speed Can error + side low) the car came back to life. Throttle works, revs normal, flashing OD gone.I have been advised to fix the leak and replace the internal fuse box.Has anyone got any ideas where i could find and internal fuse box? i just looked on ebay and couldnt find one.
