With the year coming to a close, Kia Motors is already looking forward to the prospects of another milestone year in 2016. To wrap up the many exciting moments over the past year, we present the five most popular Kia BUZZ posts of 2015. Read on to find out more! Number 5: The all-new Grand Carnival Limousine elevates new luxury with Noble Klasse model The Noble Klasse Carnival revealed at the 2015 Seoul Motor Show embodied the transformation of minivans into high-class limousines. While not intended for mass production, this luxurious take on the Kia Grand Carnival (also known as the Sedona in some markets) boasts advanced premium features and masterful finishes that impressed and delighted fans. Number 4: The all-new Optima: Perfected with fully-advanced and dynamic design The interview with Kia’s design team about their work on the all-new Kia Optima also ranked among the most popular stories. The team discussed the design concept, inspirations and the newest interior and exterior features of Kia’s fourth generation award-winning midsize sedan. Number 3: The making of Kia Picanto’s digital campaign Kia BUZZ also revealed the creative processes behind the making of the Kia Picanto digital campaign. With detailed sketches and character renderings of the campaign microfilms, the post gave a behind-the-scenes peek into the delightful characters and engaging stories of the Picanto universe. The winter holiday season is upon us and despite the festive atmosphere, harsh weather conditions are a cause for concern for automobile owners. Winter may be the most taxing season for your car as it is constantly exposed to freezing temperature and elements such as snow, sleet and ice. In order to ensure smooth sailing through the holidays, Kia Motors presents winter maintenance tips to keep your car running flawlessly through the season. 1) Look under the hood Temperature drops are known to wreak havoc on automobiles as the systems have to work a lot harder to keep the engine going in the cold. Colder temperatures disturb the chemical processes inside car batteries making them more prone to dying. Seeking regular and thorough checkups during the winter months is highly recommended in order to make sure that things are running smoothly under the hood. It is also important to check fluids such as engine oil and antifreeze and adjust them according to the condition of your vehicle and the local weather. 2) Prevent slipping Depending on where you live, adding chains or upgrading to special winter tires may be your best bet for maintaining control and boosting traction while driving on the ice-prone roads of winter. Because air contracts in cold temperatures, making sure that tires are properly inflated is also a must when the temperatures start to fall. Deflated tires significantly decrease traction and prevent your brake system from working at maximum efficiency. Brakes are one of the most important safety features, requiring yearlong care, but special attention must be paid in winter to prevent skidding on icy roads. Make sure that your brakes are sound and pay attention to any warning signals that may appear on your dashboard. 3) Defend against moisture One of the most basic steps in weathering winter elements such as snow, slush and even hail is waterproofing your automobile. Exposure to the elements causes rusting, and road salt may also contribute to problems with the undercarriage and corrosion of the vehicle body. A detailed cleaning and wax job will remove harmful corrosives and provide much needed protection against the winter weather. Water-resistant floor mats also come in handy when protecting your car from moisture. It is also necessary to make sure windshield wipers are in working order as they are prone to fraying and freezing during the winter months. Because wipers are crucial to visibility, preemptive checkups and stocking up on replacement parts is also a good idea. 4) Check the heat The proper functioning of your vehicle’s heating and defrosting units is important for a safe and comfortable driving experience during wintertime. In addition to keeping you warm and toasty behind the wheel, the heating and defrosting units work to prevent condensation on windshields to maintain a clear line of vision while driving. Make sure to check for faulty heater coils and confirm that blowers and window defrosters are in working order. In addition, replacing cabin air filters may help improve the your automobile’s HVAC system. 5) Prepare for emergencies While taking all the preventative measures, it never hurts to be prepared for any situation. Carrying a winter emergency kit will keep you well equipped if something does go wrong while travelling. Some essential supplies to include are: a thermal blanket, additional winter wear, a flashlight with extra batteries, a small shovel, car charger, jumper cables, ice scraper, emergency reflector or triangle, flares, candles with lighter or matches, external cellphone battery pack, first-aid kit and a supply of water and dried food. While some of these supplies may seem unnecessary or a little overboard, it is better to have them stashed in your car and not use them, than to need them and not have them at all. Preparing your car for winter driving while keeping in mind the most severe weather you can expect in your area is always the best policy for avoiding unexpected disasters during the holidays. Following the tips above and preparing your vehicle for the winter months ahead will make for a safe and enjoyable travelling experience. Fueling the excitement of worldwide fans, Kia Motors has unveiled the first images of the X-Men inspired 2nd generation X-Car! As part of an ongoing collaboration with Twentieth Century Fox and the X-Men franchise, this latest X-Car was created to promote the new X-Men: Apocalypse film and Kia’s sponsorship of the Australian Open 2016. Taking inspiration from Mystique, the lithe and agile mutant of Marvel’s X-Men universe, the all-new 2016 Sportage was transformed from its standard state into a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. Boasting a textured blue finish, racing wheels and red and yellow bodywork highlights, the Sportage-based X-Car mimics the appearance of the famous shape-shifter. Ahead of the film’s global premiere in May, the Kia X-Car will be on display to the public at Melbourne Park in January during the Australian Open 2016. In addition, a special online video starring Kia’s global ambassador Rafael Nadal will be available for fans starting January 4, 2016. The X-Car is also scheduled to make appearances at various international motor shows and fan events leading up to the film’s global release. Audi would be Bon Jovi – Still huge and sticking to what made them famous, why mess with a winning formula? BMW would be Dr. Dre – Dabbling in a bit of everything, they continue to turn out successful products and rake in the money. Smart would be that guy playing solo at your local bar – A heavily city-based product, there’s still something alluring to this simple, small production. Subaru would be Arcade Fire – Were a small, quirky manufacturer with a devoted following, but have gone more mainstream lately. Loved in Canada. Tesla would be the Sex Pistols – Not conforming to society’s ideals and the status quo, this brand goes by the beat of its own drum. But they will gladly take your money. <p>Heb in juli 2015 een nieuwe Kia Picanto comfortline 1.0 cvvt gekocht. Stelde al binnen enkele weken vast dat wanneer ik vanuit stilstand de koppeling op liet komen er even een knikkerbak geluid was en soms bij het schakelen naar 2 en opkomen van de koppeling ook. Bij de dealer gemeld, die hoorde het ook maar stelde dat dat blijkbaar "normaal" was want een demo auto die ik mocht proberen had het ook. Mij lijkt het niet normaal ook als dat iets structureel is. En dan zouden er toch meer klachten moeten zijn. Wat zou de oorzaak kunnen zijn?</p> Lees het hele artikel

<p>Beste,<br /> Ben even bij die eigenaar geweest, en zijn probleem was als hij zijn koppelingspedaal al een klein beetje loslaat zijn wagen begint te vertrekken.<br /> Achteruitversnelling kraakt een beetje, <br /> Vermoed zijn hoofkoppelingscilinder omdat zijn koppelingsplaat niet slipt bij het testen.<br /> Is deze te regelen, moet het morgen eens nakijken, maar een nieuwe hoofdkoppelingscilinder is nergens te vinden via een site.<br /> Ooit een Cerato gehad dat te regelen was, maar die zijn hoofdkoppelingscilinder zat in de wagen, de Soul heeft het in zijn motoruimte.<br /> En als dat niet helpt, dan maar de hele koppelingsset.<br /> Dikke gr.<br /> Jantje</p> Lees het hele artikel
