The 2014 Kia Forte sedan is being recalled for a possible fire hazard. The Korean automaker is recalling nearly 87,000 Forte sedans due to an issue with the cooling system’s radiator fan resistor. According to the recall notice, the resister can overheat and melt, increasing the risk of a fire. Affected models are equipped with either the 1.8- or 2.0-liter engine. At least two fires related to the issue have been reported in early 2014.
