The Kia Soul’s success has been surprising in the U.S., but is it good enough to merit a coupe variant? The Korean automaker is mulling over a Kia Soul coupe model that would closely resemble the Track’ster concept that debuted at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show. Even more promising is that the Track’ster concept’s turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 250 hp is also under consideration. Of course, even if Kia opted not to add a coupe variant to the lineup, the more powerful turbo engine would come as a welcome addition to the product line. Beste mensenMisschien weet iemand iets meer over het volgende probleem:Wanneer ik het contact aanzet lijkt alles "dood", dus geen enkele stroomtoevoer en wil dus niet starten.Meet ik de voltage van de accu dan kom ik op 12,8 volt en kan ik iedere keer na de meeting, vreemd genoeg, de auto weer een paar keer starten.Meet ik de motor draaiend komt ik op 14,30 volt. Als ik gas geeft blijft hij 14,30 volt aangeven.Ik start dan met de binnen en buiten lampen aan en dat geeft geen enkel probleem, hij start direct en krachtig.Na een paar keer goed starten opeens weer helemaal dood, geen enkele stroomtoevoer meer.Naar mijn gevoel, maar misschien zit ik er naast, kan dat niet de accu zelf zijn.Als extra informatie moet ik zeggen dat ik wel al geruime tijd last heb van een half werkende centrale deurvergrendeling. Er zit geen startonderbreker op overigens.Mocht iemand weten waar ik het verder in moet zoeken dan verneem ik het heel graag.Dank bij voorbaat. Lees het hele artikel

Hallo,Ik heb sinds feb 2013 mijn Kia Picanto, nu waren er in het begin wat geluiden vanuit het interieur en is mijn dashboard gedemonteerd. Na montage heeft het dashboard vervelende geluiden bij onregelmatige wegen en bruggen/spoorwegovergangen. Heads up EV fans, Kia is on track to launch its first global battery-powered vehicle in 2016. The automaker will start building Soul EVs in South Korea next month. This will be Hyundai-Kia’s first pure-electric model for export markets; it’s expected to go on sale both in the United States and Europe. The amped-up Kia Soul offers 92 miles of driving range following a rapid charge, which takes anywhere from 24 to 33 minutes. A slower replenishment of the battery pack takes some four hours. In its home market the Soul EV will cost around 42 million won, which is about $39,400, but that price will fall by about half when South Korean government subsidies are factored in. That reduced figure is similar to what a high-end gasoline-powered model costs. The company has set a global sales target of 5,000 units though if more states like California start requiring manufacturers to offer zero-emissions vehicles that figure could grow. Hallo Harry en firedriver,Auto is vandaag bij de garage geweest en de EGR en omgeving is schoongemaakt, was wel vuil maar niet overdreven aldus de garage, koste niet veel gelukkig.Het probleem is er echter nog .De garage kreeg het amper gestart en ik heb tijdens het naar huis rijden (60 km) drie keer op een P de auto uitgezet en gestart, wil echt niet lukken zonder startpilot.Zou jammer zijn als ik hem zou moeten verkopen, loopt erg goed en zuinig (1:16.5) bij 100 km per uur.Mvg Wim Lees het hele artikel

Three row crossovers from Japan, Korea and North America are all here, so lets run through the lineup: 2014 Chevrolet Traverse 2LT: It may be on the drab side in terms of styling, but the Chevy Traverse is easily the most spacious vehicle in the test. With a focus on family hauling capability and good value, the Traverse has a sporting chance against its seven rivals. 2014 Dodge Durango Citadel AWD: The only vehicle in the group with a V8 and eight-speed transmission, the Durango is an interesting player in this comparison. Sure it’s good looking, and backed by Ron Burgandy but fuel economy and price may hold it from nabbing the best crossover crown. 2014 Ford Explorer Limited 4WD: One of the best selling three-row crossovers on the market, the Ford Explorer enters 2014 with minimal updates. With its rugged looks and high-tech available features, the Explorer could sneak onto the podium. 2014 Honda Pilot Touring 4WD: Still sporting a five-speed automatic transmission, is the Honda Pilot outgunned in this test? The Pilot will likely make a name for itself as one of the more practical and family friendly vehicles in the group, but that might not be enough to get that number one spot. 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited AWD: Hyundai always offers a value packed vehicle and the Santa Fe is no different. With variable steering and other handy driving aids, this Hyundai offers a ton of content for a low price. 2014 Kia Sorento: Mildly refreshed this year, the Sorento, like the Santa Fe, offers a ton of content for a low price. Will it surprise our judges in terms of fuel usage and cargo space too? 2014 Nissan Pathfinder Platnium Premium Hybrid: The only crossover in this group with a four-cylinder engine, this Hybrid model may win the fuel-economy portion of this huge test. However, that hybrid technology doesn’t come cheap and the Pathfinder is one the less powerful vehicles in this test. 2014 Toyota Highlander XLE AWD: One of the most affordable and humbly equipped model in the group, can the Toyota have what it takes to keep up with these other crossover. Sporting the same running gear as its last generation model, the Toyota has to deliver the goods when it comes to value. 2014 Cadillac SRX: – News Editor Stephen Elmer is also driving a luxurious crossover, though this one won’t be in the comparison. Here’s what he has to say about it:”Having driven both the ATS and CTS, I’ve seen what a modern Cadillac looks like, and I’m wondering how the Cadillac crossover stacks up to the rest of the lineup. Does it offer the same luxury as its counterparts, or does this Caddy need a refresh? ” We’ll be tweeting our thoughts about these minivan replacements throughout the week. Ik ben inmiddels ook bij een andere KIA dealer geweest, die heeft het brandstof filter vervangen, nu ging het een paar dagen goed, of het is toeval. Gisteren starte hij alleen als ik startpilot gebruikte.Ik ga vandaag naar een andere garage (geen delaer) om de EGR te laten reinigen, heb het al geprobeerd met drie spuitbusjes van een bekend merk, dat helpt schijnbaar niet.Bedankt voor jullie advies, ik hou jullie op de hoogte.Mvg Wim Lees het hele artikel
