Minivans aren’t really exciting, but Kia is hoping to change that mentality with what looks like a redesigned Sedona, which seems destined for a 2014 New York Auto Show debut. Based on the teaser image above of the 2015 Sedona, it’s clear that Kia is giving the minivan some sharp design cues, including the new signature ‘tiger-nose’ grille found at the front of this family vehicle. SEE ALSO: Kia Soul Coup Under Consideration The teaser also shows off some fancy looking LED lighting and a raked windshield, giving the minivan a bit more presence on the road. Expect the minivan to debut with a 3.3-liter V6 engine. That engine, similar to whats found in the Sorento, would make 290 hp and 252 lb-ft of torque. The new minivan is also upping the ante in terms of passenger and cargo space, with room for 8-passengers and their luggage. Ik vermoed dat de handrem van de Kia Sportage gelijk is aan de Hyundai Tucson. Bij de Tucson zit het handremgedeelte in de remschijf verwerkt met aparte (kleine) remschoenen. Door het stelwieltje in het trommelgedeelte te verdraaien kan je de handrem afstellen.Kijk in ieder geval ook eens na of er geen remkabel vastzit. (moet soepel door de buitenmantel bewegen). De handrem pakt niet goed, hij zou iets vaster zou mogen staan, ik kan hem 7 klikjes aantrekken, bij 5 klikken rolt de auto nog gewoon door.Heb pas 29.000 km gereden, auto remt prima echter, ik merk dat als ik de handrem aantrek terwijl de auto niet helemaal stilstaat hij scheef trekt, m.a.w. dat het rechterachterwiel veel sterker remt dan links.Onder de auto zie ik twee gescheiden remkabels naar de achterwielen lopen zonder afstelmogelijkheid.-Hoe kan ik de handrem iets strakker zetten ?, het middenconzool is helemaal gesloten en ik zie geen afstel mogelijkheid langs of onder de handremhendel.-Hoe wordt de (hand)remkracht verdeeld over de twee achterwielen ?Wie kan mij helpen ?gr. About 100 miles north of Los Angeles, in the Mojave Desert, sit the final testing grounds, where every Kia vehicle must receive the stamp of approval before mass production. At the Hyundai-Kia California Proving Grounds, located in California City, stretching over an area of about 4,300 acres, our next-generation vehicles are tested to their absolute limits, until we’re certain they are suitable for even the most extreme weather conditions. So what does it take to be an approved Kia vehicle? Prove yourself Although all vehicles are tested for engine and air conditioning system reliability in specially controlled hot chambers, the vehicles are once again tested at the California Proving Grounds because the Mojave Desert provides the most ideal environment, with temperatures reaching up to 39°C (about 102 °F) We test on multiple types of roads to ensure that we’ve covered almost any type of scenario that our vehicles might face. The extended uphill road was created with an inclination angle between 2 and 12% to test the hill-climbing ability and the Automatic Cruise Control System. On the multi-purpose road, shaped like an open fan, vehicles go through a variety of tests that test for vehicle stability, brake performance and ride and handling. The endurance test road replicates more than ten different types of road surfaces, making sure that all vehicles have been roughened up enough to take on any type of terrain. This test road is so rigorous that it tests vehicle wear and tear to the equivalent of 60,000 miles (96,000 km) when driven for just 10,000 miles (16,000 km). It makes sense that every single vehicle must survive the endurance test track before it can be mass produced. The handling test road is made up of sharp winding roads, ensuring optimum drivability of vehicles on the mountainous U.S. road system and testing how responsive the handling is on all the vehicles. The straight road is the hottest in all of the Mojave Desert, with a sensory temperature that reaches up to 90 degrees Celsius. In addition to this straight road, we also have a separate extreme condition materials testing facility which exposes both cars and their various components to scorching hot temperatures and blistering sunlight to prove their integrity. Those that fail to pass this test never see the light of day and are sent back for further improvement. Roaring engines and screeching tires are the norm at our Proving Grounds, and while the testing can’t exactly be kept a secret, we do make an effort to keep things on the down-low in the Mojave—after all, it’s all these tests that determine which vehicles make the final cut. Ronalld, ik denk dat iedereen jouw vraag niet begrepen heeft omdat er steeds maar over die NAP gesproken wordt.Je wil graag weten of de km stand in de computer opgeslagen wordt.Voor Kia weet ik het niet (misschien iemand anders wel). Bij Hyundai is de km stand niet in de computer opgeslagen. Ik weet dat er merken zijn die dat wel doen.Overigens is een NAP (carpas voor Belgie) niet sluitend.Een wagen die uit een ander land is ingevoerd heft geen km hystoriek en die wordt enkel bij invoer in het systeem ingebracht. Zo is het eenvoudig om een wagen met veel km in te voeren met een "aangepaste" km stand. Lees het hele artikel

dealer vragen of ze dashboard boven plaat demonteren dan zien ze pinnen zitten( tegen schutbord) waar deze plaat gemonteerd op zit ,kan ruimte op zitten slecht te zien.deze pennen met tocht strip behandelen en de gaten in de boven beplating , hierna terug monteren .deze beplating wil nog wel eens bijgeluiden geven .wel door eigen dealer dit laten uitvoeren .
