As Kia continues to expand its range of offerings, the brand is considering the addition of diesel powerplants to its vehicles sold in the U.S. The Korean automaker is eyeing the introduction of diesel models to its U.S. lineup, but don’t expect it for at least three to four years. According to Orth Hedrick, vice-president of product planning for Kia Motors America, “The problem right now is that there are different emissions standards in Europe and the US, which means we would be faced with different after-treatments, and that makes it very expensive.” SEE ALSO: 2015 Kia Sedona is the Best Looking Minivan You’ve Never Heard Of However, EU6 being introduced in 2017-2018 could mean both Europe and U.S. will share the same standards and gives Kia a better chance at introducing diesel models to its lineup. Hallo Allemaal,ik heb een kia picanto uit 2008 en vandaag via de dealer gehoord dat de krukasbout los zit bij mijn auto!heb meteen even het boven genoemde na gekeken, en bij mij staat er in het chassisnummer 7T dus deze auto zou veilig moeten zijn! maar het tegendeel blijkt dus!nu is mijn auto wel altijd netjes onderhouden, maar niet bij de dealer! is er iemand die weet of ik nu ook nog aanspraak kan maken op kosteloze reparatie door de kia? halloik heb een handgeschakelde kia sorento diesel uit oktober 2004.in het begin liep de auto altijd goed maar sinds kort heeft hij problemen.eerst sloeg hij zo af en toe af als hij zwaar werken moest al was het maar wat doortrekken uit lage toeren.hij begon het op den duur steeds vaker te doen.na een aantal keer bleef het motorstoringslampje branden dus uit laten lezen. resutlaat zou een kapotte raildruksensor zijn (150 euro)besteld week lever tijd. auto heeft in die week nog prima gereden. maar 1x afgeslagen. ff paar minuten wachten en weer starten en verder rijden.sensor vervangen na die week, rij van de werkplaats richting huis. nog geen 10 kilometer onderweg en hij slaat weer af (balen).dag er na meteen maar naar de dealer gebracht. uit laten lezen. niks te vinden. compressie test niks te vinden. verstuivers getest prima in orde volgens de dealer. maar hij zou wel een te lage druk op hebben op het brandstofsysteem.advies van de dealer was nieuwe filter of misschien eerst maar even een flesje met van dat diesel reiniger. eerst een flesje er in gegooid. toch s'avonds thuis maar eens de brandstofpomp in de tank er uit gehaald. en ja hoor aanzuigfiltertje zat helemaal berstopt met inderdaad de wel bekende los latende coating. eerst schoon gemaakt. toen reed hij weer 2 week goed. toen begon hij in eens weer wat raar te lopen en soms sloeg hij ook af tot op een zekere morgen ik naar me werk wou en hij mij onderweg helemaal liet staan. van contact even gewacht. weer gestart. hij sloeg wel heel even aan maar ook direct weer uit. dit paar keer herhaalt zonder resultaat. mij afgesleept naar de werkpaats. tank er onderweg gehaald. schoon gemaakt. leidingen helemaal schoon geblazen. nieuwe filter er onder gezet. krijg ook diesel bij de verstuivers enzovoorts maar toch nog steeds het euvel dat hij wel aan slaat maar meteen ook weer uit slaat. en hij wil wel starten op startpiloot. daar loopt hij ook 5 minuten goed op. toen heb ik even wat gas gegeven en dat ging prima. bij de 2de keer gas geven sloeg hij weer uit en nu is het weer wel even aan slaan maar meteen weer uit gaanwat kan dit zijn ?ik heb het nieuwe filter nog wel gevuld met diesel voor dat ik hem heb gemonteerd. zou er toch nog lucht in zitten ?bij de tank zijde van de aanvoer leiding van diesel is er wel diesel maar bij de filter zijde komt er na genoeg niks uit. Probeer al een paar dagen er achter te komen hoe ik de versnellingsbakolie kan bijvullen, ik wil graag een additief erbij gooien namelijk TSL(Tristar lube) waardoor het schakelen weer wat soepeler wordt. Nergens maar dan ook nergens kan ik een vulnippel vinden. Het enigste wat ik ik kan vinden is een ontluchtingsnippel waar als je het dopje met veertje er af haalt een piepklein gaatje in zit en bijna een injectiespuit nodig zou hebben om daar iets in te krijgen. Mijn automaat van mijn Sorento blijft in 4wd low staan ik heb zekering 13 er al uitgehaald ( om te testen) en dan gaat het lampje 4WD wel uit maar hij blijft in "low gear" staan. Tevens is er aan de zijkant van de versnellingsbak een stuurmotortje met 5 aansluitingen en hier staat op alle 5 kabels spanning, dit zal zeker niet juist zijn!Er zit sinds kort wel een nieuwe vesnellingsbak en tussenbak onder, maar het stuurmotortje is niet vervangen.help........... The Eat Your Kimchi team is a Korea-based YouTube/blogger duo made up of the quirky couple, Simon and Martina Stawski. Anyone who has searched for anything about K-pop or Korean culture on the internet has probably come across their blog or videos, which show the eccentric duo exploring Korea and the rest of the world. Kia has helped the couple expand their adventures by providing them with a customized Kia Soul over the past two years, which is now their main mode of transportation during their adventures in Korea. The Kia Buzz team met up with Eat Your Kimchi in Seoul to find out more about these adventures in the Eatyourkimchi Mobile, also known as the Eatyourkimchi Soul (#EYKSoul)! Check out our interview below: Kia: So, what’s the story behind Eat Your Kimchi? EYK: Six years ago, we first came to Korea to teach English. We started blogging about our adventures on the side because we wanted our families to see what Korea was like. There wasn’t really that much overseas coverage of Korea back then, so our families had no idea what we were getting into. Now our blog is popular enough that we could both quit teaching, and we do this full-time. We do segments about K-pop, Korean culture and our adventures. When we’re in Korea, we do Korean things, but we shoot videos in all of the countries we travel to, like China, Japan, France, and the United States. Kia: How did the Eatyourkimchi Mobile (#EYKSoul) project start? EYK: Since our adventure videos were such a big hit with our audience, we thought it would be natural for us to venture out to areas outside of Seoul. But traveling in a taxi with cameras, mics, lighting, and tripods isn’t too convenient. We approached Kia with the idea that we should shoot our adventure videos in the Kia Soul. It made perfect sense to us. The Soul is a very fun car, and we’re rather quirky people. Driving the Kia around was the next evolution of our programming, and so far it’s been a perfect fit. Our first major adventure video we did with the Eatyourkimchi Mobile was a great success with our audience! Check out our adventure to a famous K-pop star’s villa in the Eatyourkimchi Mobile here. Kia: What inspired the Eatyourkimchi Mobile design? EYK: We both have lots of tattoos, and Martina’s hair is half pink. We have a dog that’s half blue! We’re very noticeable, and our personalities are represented in many ways by the way we look. We wanted the Eatyourkimchi Mobile to go with that vibe. If we were going to have a new addition to our EatYourKimchi family, the Eatyourkimchi Mobile had to look the part! So, the colors and the swirls you see on the Eatyourkimchi Mobile can be found in a lot of our videos and branding as well, from our tattoo designs, to our studio sign, to our YouTube thumbnails. The Eatyourkimchi Mobile not only stands out on its own from the rest of the cars on the streets of Korea, but it also represents us perfectly. Kia: What is the best memory you have with your Eatyourkimchi Mobile so far? EYK: For Martina’s birthday, we took the Eatyourkimchi Mobile to Everland, a major amusement park in Korea. I packed a lot of lunch meats and liverwurst and breads and cheeses for her birthday. We sat in the back of our Soul and cut our meats and cheeses on a tiny cutting board and had a little picnic in the trunk! I’m sure it looked funny to passersby, but it was a very special moment for us. Kia: Share any driving tips for first-time drivers in Korea. EYK: Give yourself a bit more room between your car and cars in front of you. A lot of people will merge in front of you without signaling. Don’t get angry! So the more room you give yourself the better! Also, you MUST get a GPS navigation system. Seoul is exceptionally difficult to navigate because of the many alleyways and smaller streets all over the city. Kia: Share any upcoming plans for Eat Your Kimchi. EYK: We’re in the process of opening up our own coffee shop. It’s a project we’ve been working on for almost a year, and finally, we should be opening by the end of July this year. We’re really excited to be able to connect with our audience offline, and this coffee shop is going to be a great chance for us to do that. Also, the full Eat Your Kimchi crew is planning a very epic two week road trip, in which we go on many adventures around many different parts of Korea, and we’ll be testing the limits of the Eatyourkimchi Soul. Denk toch dat de dynamo niet helemaal fris is , diode defect.Je zou eens de aansluitingen plus en massa goed kunnen controleren.Meet ook eens rechtstreeks op de B+ op de dynamo , stationair en op 2500 toeren. Lees het hele artikel

tijdens vakantie met caravan, diverse malen lege accu gehad. Deze via gelijkrichter opgeladen en gemeten wat de laadspanning van de dynamo was, plm 13 v, vond ik niet veel.Nog tijdens die vakantie nieuwe accu gekocht en die goed doorgeladen en daarmee thuis gekomen.Thuis dynamo gedemonteerd en laten testen, was oktijdens een avondrit merkte ik dat mijn verlichting en ook het display wat flikkerde, dit tijdens vakantie niet opgemerkt, maar zal het toen ook vast gedaan hebben.Diverse in het zicht zittende stekkerverbindingen en ook de 13 polige stekkerdoos gecontroleerd zagen er goed uit.heeft iemand van jullie een idee waar ik het kan zoeken .
