The Kia Rio is headed for a mid-cycle refresh that will be on display for the first time next month during the Paris Motor Show alongside a re-designed Sorento crossover. Kia’s current sub-compact (pictured) model won’t go through any drastic changes, but the company will graft on a new front fascia while offering different wheels and new paint colors to choose from. The cabin will also now include the company’s seven-inch display screen in the dashboard. SEE ALSO: 2014 Paris Motor Show Preview The Rio isn’t a top seller in the North American sub-compact segment, although it still outsells some of its competitors including the MAzda2 and Toyota Yaris. Sales of the small South Korean car are dwindling this year, down 11 percent year-to-date in a segment where leading products like the Nissan Versa and Chevrolet Sonic are enjoying big volume gains thanks in large part to being fresh compared to the Rio. Two of Kia’s compact cars fared better in crash tests for 2015 than they did in the previous model year. The Forte and Soul models have both improved on the IIHS small overlap front test with the Soul earning a good rating, improving from its previous poor result. The Korean automaker improved the Soul’s structure for the 2015 model year and after earning good ratings in the four other crash tests, the 2015 Kia Soul is now an IIHS Top Safety Pick. As the number of electric vehicles continues to increase all over the world, Kia has also been making greener moves in the automotive industry, especially with the imminent launch of sales of the 2015 Soul EV—Kia’s first ever all-electric, zero-emissions car for the global market. More Kia retailers and sales offices will soon be outfitted with fast-charging stations for the new Soul EV, supporting our ongoing green efforts as one of the 50 Best Global Green Brands in the world. This month, in response to the greater demand for charging stations for electric vehicles, Kia installed two innovative fast-charging stations at its European headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany. These new high-capacity 100kW DC chargers are Europe’s first 100kW DC fast chargers, capable of charging the new Soul EV from empty to 80% in just 25 minutes. Kia Motors Europe plans to expand its network of EV charging stations across all Soul EV retailers and sales headquarters throughout Europe, allowing European drivers access to almost 400 charging stations. Additionally, the U.S. is also gearing up for 2015 Soul EV sales, with Kia Motors America recently announcing that it is installing 17 new DC fast chargers in California to help bring California’s existing network of fast-charging stations to more than 200. These are all a part of Kia’s efforts to remain a globally eco-friendly automotive brand. The Kia Soul EV will go on sale in 16 European countries and the U.S. later this year. En de remmen , moet lukken Voor deze Rio , heb ik Opel Kadet D , Alfa 33 , en Volvo 440 gehad . Alle drie tweedehandse auto , dus veel werk , en vele fouten gemaakt bij het sleutelen , maar het hoort erbij , vind ik . Het is gewoon leuk om nieuwe dingen te leren . Alleen bij de laatste kwam ik bij Problem Car . Geen internet thuis , toen . Wel vraagbaak boeken .Nogmaals bedankt , en een fijne dag verder . Vinh . Lees het hele artikel

Afstand tussen de electrodes 100 ? denk dat je 1 mm bedoelt ,De electrode afstand is afhankelijk van merk en type bougie die er nu in zitten , het ene merk/type dient op 0,7mm afgesteld te worden en het andere merk/type byv. op 1,1mm .De handrem 5 à 6 klikken lijkt mij normaal , het gaat er in principe om dat als de handrem aangetrokken is dat de wielen goed geblokkeerd zijn ,en bij het lossen van de handrem weer goed vrij komen en vrij rond kunnen draaien .(kun je eventueel controleren door de achterwielen los van de grond te zetten en dan te controleren of ze blokkeren met handrem vast en goed vrij komen met handrem los).je kunt de remmen onderhouden / reinigen zoals bij elke auto .er van uitgaande dat je enige technische kennis / sleutel ervaring hebt .succes . Goede morgen Problem car , Ik heb een Kia Rio , net een paar dagen . Olie verversen: ja . Nu bougies checken , schoon maar de afstand tussen de electrodes : 100 .1. Is dit goed of moet het minder zijn , die afstand ?2. De stand van handrem , 5-6 klikken , ofnieuw afstellen ?3. Deze auto heeft ABS , Kan ik zomaar de remmen uit elkaar halen , schoonmaken en wee in elkaar zetten zoals de gewone (!) remmen of moet ik nog iets doen ? Ik heb geen vraagbaak boeken hier , vandaar deze vragen . Graag uw hulp voor deze vragen , vandaag niet meer , maar misschien volgende weekeind kan ik weer gaan sleutelen . The 2015 Kia Sedona will keep the same price as the 2014 model year despite getting a facelift. The Korean automaker has announced that the updated minivan will be priced from $26,795 including destination and will be available in five trim levels: base L model, EX, LX, SX and premium SX Limited. Last year, the Sedona was only available in LX and EX trim. The mid-range Sedona EX will start at $32,995, which is a $1,200 increase over the 2014 Sedona EX while the Sedona SX will be priced from $36,995. Pricing for the range-topping SX Limited model will be set at $40,995. According to the EPA, the minivan will return 18 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway which marks a one-mpg improvement in city driving compared to the 2014 model. Along with the redesign on the exterior, the 2015 Sedona also benefits from a new engine and new optional safety features including the $2,700 Technology package which adds smart cruise control, lane-departure warning system, forward-collision warning system and Xenon HID headlights. The minivan will come standard with seating for seven while an upgrade to eight-passenger seating is available for $400 additional. A rear-seat entertainment system is available as a $995 option. The car with a hamster for a pitchman will soon try to push into sportier territory in an effort by Kia to expand its appeal. According to a recent report, the Korean automaker will transplant the 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine from the Forte to the Soul, giving the funky compact 201 hp and 195 lb-ft of torque. Currently, the Soul’s most powerful engine is a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter with 164 hp and 151 lb-ft of torque, so the turbo-four powerplant will certainly be a nice upgrade for those looking for more performance. Kia originally was hoping to add that model to this year’s lineup, but was unable to have the upgraded suspension, brakes and steering ready in time – so expect it for next year. Currently, the company is in the early stages planning for the third-generation Soul and is considering some major changes including a coupe body style and even a pickup to go along with the standard four-door hatch.
