Een Kia Sorento 2.5 crdi uit 2006 constant 4 wiel aangedreven, hierbij is de kruiskoppeling van de tussenas voorwielaandrijving kapotgegaan. Hier een goede vervangende tussenas van een demontagebedrijf, gemonteerd en weer aan goed aan het rijden. Na een week blijkt de voorste homokinetische koppeling van de tussenas kapot te zijn. Nu is de vraag hoe dat kan dat deze koppeling zo snel kapot is, was de koppeling niet goed..... deze heb ik nagezien zat goed in het vet en zonder speling. Nu denk ik dat het probleem in de banden zit. Op de vooras ligt aan de ene kant een nieuwe Michelin en aan de andere kant een 40% Kumho. Op de achteras liggen 20% pirelli's kan het zijn dat er bij het rijden op de weg teveel spanning in de aandrijving ontstaat en dat die zich op het zwakstepunt "eruit werkt"? Kia is going on a little bit of a comic book binge at this year’s SEMA Show, or at least that’s what it seems like. Joining its fellow DC Comics compatriot, a Green Lantern-themed Kia Soul is will accompany the already-announced Flash Forte next week in Las Vegas. Kia isn’t saying much about the car yet, but the teaser photo gives a few details away. First, and most obviously, it has a black-and-green color scheme to match the comic. Apart from that, it also gets a custom front bumper, blacked out head lights and Green Lantern logos on the wheels and fog lights. All-new Kia Carens – Comments from Design The all-new Kia Carens is a completely fresh model from the ground up, and its sleek and sculpted design marks a dramatic shift away from the more utilitarian look of its predecessor. It builds on the functionality and versatility of the original Carens, with a spacious five or five-plus-two seating layout, a generously proportioned luggage bay and numerous stowage spaces, but wraps this family-friendly adaptability in more purposeful sheet metal. To add a premium feel to the clean cut exterior and create a visual link with the new Sportage, singled out the understated chrome strip that runs from the base of the widescreen and lower level of windows and curls up to meet the C-pillar. For improved visibility, the base of the windscreen is very low and this works with the front quarter windows and the low and wide sweeping dashboard design to deliver excellent visibility. Panoramic glass roof that floods the cabin with light further enhancing the sense of spaciousness. The front and rear overhangs were kept as short as possible to boost maneuverability when parking and negotiating city traffic Neat touches abound – the integrated roof rails; the sleek rear spoiler, the three-way split second-row seats that feature individual fore and aft adjustment, and Kia’s tactile new steering wheel. “With its nigh-perfect balance of proportion, style and functionality, the distinctive new Carens marks yet another successful and stylish step for Kia’s global design team,” says Schreyer proudly. “There’s a design honesty here – the Carens is neither over-dressed nor does it feature contrived design elements. At a recent event in South Korea, Kia unveiled its 2013 K7 model which is rumored to be heading to America as the Cadenza. Much like the all-new Quoris, which is known as the K9 in Korea, the all-new K7 gets a design makeover with a sleeker front grille, new headlights, and restyled front bumper. The K7′s new design also borrows some elements from the K9 including its front fender air vents. It’s expected that the new K7 will launch in Korea next month and the Cadenza is rumored to come to North America in the first half of next year. Based on the same underpinnings as the Hyundai Azera, the Cadenza is a front-drive full-size premium sedan. Both the Cadenza and the Equus-based Quoris are expected to arrive in North America some time next year, significantly expanding the Korean automaker’s premium level products here. In a follow-up to the Batman-themed Kia Optima, the Korean automaker has teased its Flash-themed Kia Forte Koup that will be heading to the 2012 SEMA Show. Built by West Coast Customs, the Kia Forte Koup clearly will be unmistakable on the show floor in Las Vegas with a see-through Flash logo on the hood with a striking yellow lightning bolt. The Forte Koup will be the first of four Justice League-inspired cars, and part of the eight vehicles being built in collaboration with DC Comics. The Forte Koup won’t be alone at the 2012 SEMA Show though. Joining it will be inspired Kias by Aquaman, Cyborg, and Green Lantern. The eight vehicles are being built as part the DC Entertainment’s ‘We Can Be Heroes’ famine relief campaign which raises awareness of hunger in the Horn of Africa. Lees het hele artikel

Have you ever wondered how some ads you see on TV are made? I sure have. Our TV ad for the newly upgraded Kia Sorento with all new design and platform was shot near downtown, Los Angeles at the beginning of September. LA is the entertainment capital for TV and cinema, and I was excited to be on location and participate behind-the-scenes of the filming. Today on Kia-Buzz, I would like to give everyone a behind-the-scenes look at our new commercial. Producing an ad is an important step in the launching of a new vehicle and it’s an important communication method to give viewers a great first impression. The theme of the ad was “Kia Sorento isn’t just improved, it’s reinvented”, emphasizing its vast enhancements. Our storyboard was developed through a lengthy ideation and planning process. My first impression It was truly unforgettable because it was my first overseas ad shoot. It wasn’t easy, but the whole process was enlightening nonetheless. The scale of manpower and equipment required to shoot a 33 seconds ad was astonishing. Vehicle maintenance experts made sure the Sorento shine and look stylish throughout the whole shoot, and sprinkler trucks watered the streets to create Sorento’s reflection. The preparation time for the shoot alone took about 3 hours. Camera angles, lighting, vehicle checks, rehearsals and so many other details were carefully planned. Wrapping up and Final Cut I was nervous about this Sorento commercial airing on time because of the tight shooting schedule. I listened to my team’s feedback to incorporate final touches. Although collecting and applying feedback from everyone can be a bit overwhelming. Shot in America, edited in Korea headquarters, and scheduled to be released worldwide – I hope this 2013 Sorento commercial will be well received. De filter wordt elke 20.000 km vervangen. Die stappenmotor wordt toch aangestuurd via de ECU? als je de verdamper wisselt moet je dan toch nog iets "inleren"? Zolang als de motor niet op bedrijfstemperatuur is lopot hij op LPG op de snelweg. Maar zodra hij warm is gaat het mis.Ik ga de volgende week de verdamper wisselen; die is een stuk goedkoper dan de injectoren. Hij stinkt ook naar gas en ik ruik dat het sterkst in de nabijheid van de verdamper. Lees het hele artikel

Vanachter een pc is het lastig te beoordelen of het de verdamper is of een injector.Voor verdampers zijn revisie setjes te verkrijgen en misschien moet die opnieuw ingeleerd worden (stappenmotor op de verdamper).Een gasboer kan drukken af en uitlezen en daar zal de deze diagnose uitgekomen zijn.Het kunnen ook de kleppen zijn die niet meer goed sluiten,maar dan zou je de klachten ook op benzine moeten hebben.Zijn de filters van de gasinstallatie al eens vernieuwd?. Fitting for the caped crusader’s dark and mysterious personality, Kia’s range-topping Optima SX Limited wraps cutting-edge technology and premium amenities in a sleek, aggressive design customized with several unique Batman elements. Working together, Kia, DC Entertainment and RIDES magazine designed and built the Batman-themed Optima. The modifications at a glance Transformed exterior with a matte- and piano-black paint scheme Dramatically lowered coil over suspension and muscular ground effects kit Huge Ksport performance brakes for extreme stopping power Custom-designed 20-inch black wheels and a performance exhaust system. Other exterior modifications include a custom front grille shaped like a batwing that took over 40 hours to create, yellow LED lighting accents throughout the vehicle and the iconic bat signal etched into the HID headlights. Kia is teaming up with legendary artist Jim Lee and RIDES magazine to bring eight customized vehicles representing characters from the Justice League comic books to promote DC Entertainment’s “We Can Be Heroes” campaign. The first of these cars is a Batman-themed Optima, which made its world’s debut in New York’s Time Warner Center this week. The Optima SX Limited has been customized to incorporate Batman elements throughout the sedan. On the outside is a matte black paint scheme that’s further contrasted with piano black accents. The coilover suspension gives it a lowered stance while a body kit offers a more aggressive appearance. Performance comes in the form of Ksport big brakes and a performance exhaust system. Custom 20-inch wheels adorn all four corners of the Kia Optima while the front grille was redone in the shape of a batwing. Stepping inside the cabin, the seats have been reupholstered with black leather and suede, while yellow stitching offers contrast. When most customers drive their new Kia Sorento CUV away from the showroom for the first time, the dealer probably expects that they will be doing a little off-road driving during their ownership of the vehicle. However, Dr. Maciej Kalarus is not a typical customer. Having purchased a graphite colored Sorento 2.0-liter CRDi from Kia Motors Poland last year, Dr. Kalarus set off on an epic road trip in the summer of 2011. The intrepid driver travelled 27,000 km (approximately 17,000 miles) from Poland to the Western border of China and back –crossing vast open grassland and arid deserts, climbing snow-covered mountains and fording rivers along the way. Pacific 2012 -Poland Asia Tour Dr. Kalarus at Kia Motors Headquarters in Seoul, South Korea Dr. Kalarus is at it again and wants to top last year’s expedition with a 100-day, 40,000 km tour that he kicked-off this past July, which will take him from Katowice, Poland to Seoul, South Korea, and back. The pinnacle of the journey was his visit to Kia’s Hwasung Plant – where his Sorento was originally manufactured, and he is presently on his return journey back to Poland. Dr. Kalarus crosses some muddy waters in Mongolia This amazing route has taken Dr. Kalarus through Eastern Europe, Central Asia and finally brought him to Seoul, South Korea. The courageous driver has passed through savannahs, valleys, waterways, desert and snow capped mountains. He has definitely pushed the Sorento to its limits and beyond. He also writes poems, and his true passion is to travel, especially in his Kia Sorento. Despite all the difficult road conditions and close calls, we hope that Dr. Kalarus’s journey was worthwhil – he has described Sorento as a “tireless companion” and seeing his companion’s birthplace may have solidified the bond even further. Ik heb sinds kort een probleem met mijn Sorento op LPG. S'morgens kan ik een aantal kilometers rijden op lpg totdat hij warm wordt. Dan begint hij slecht te lopen.Hij loopt dan zo slecht dat het mil lampje gaat knipperen. Als ik weer omschakel op benzine is het probleem weg.Bougies en bougiekabels zijn recentelijk vernieuwd .Het zijn lpg bougies maar ik weet niet of de elektrodeafstand is gecorrigeerd door de KIA dealer.Volgens een lokale lpg specialist zou het niet aan de ontsteking liggen maar aan het lpg systeem; verdamper en of injectoren.Als de laptop eraan hangt corrigeert de lpg ecu soms wel tot 25% !. Foutcodes in de motor ecu geven aan : misfire cyl#1,#3,#5 . Dat is de bank waar de nieuwe bougiekables opzitten( trouwens de andere cylinderbank heeft de bobines direct op de bougies). Op bezine is er nauwelijks correctie zichtbaar en loopt hij prima.Het verwisselen van injectoren ( 6) en de lpg verdamper gaat volgens de lpg specialist meer dan 1000,- kosten. Kan iemand me adviseren of dit daadwerkelijk duidt op injectoren en/ of verdamper of wellicht iets anders?De auto heeft 215.000 gelopen waarvan ca 120.000 op lpg. Lees het hele artikel
