Naturally a name with that many capital letters and periods has to stand for something, and it does. B.R.A.K.E.S. is short for Be Responsible And Keep Everyone Safe. Five Souls made their presence known at the Las Vegas Convention Center, ranging from mild to wild, but all driven by the theme of music. Kia will be the official sponsor for the first-ever YouTube Music Awards and has built a custom Soul to celebrate the event. Featuring a matte white paint job with red accents, the Kia Soul is a collaboration between Lux Motowerks and RIDES Magazine. Of course the two-tone paint scheme is instantly recognizable as YouTube’s signature color scheme, but the logo will be located on the sides of the car just in case you didn’t know. Previously, the Korean automaker announced that it would be bringing five modified Souls to the Las Vegas Convention Center this year, each of which is inspired by the world of music. The 2001-2013 Kia Sorento SUV is under investigation after 15 consumer complaints have been filed stating that the glass sunroof had shattered on their vehicles. Kia has confirmed that its K900 sedan will make its official North American debut at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show. Built on the same platform as the Hyundai Equus, the Kia K900 is known as the Quoris and K9 in other markets and will be the Korean automaker’s attempt at offering a luxurious sedan at a budget price. The K900 will be offered in the U.S. with V6 and V8 engine options, though official engines have not yet been announced.
